Mystery Numbers
I wrote this Perl program and designed it after a "surprise" I found in a box of Cracker Jacks that had this very same game.   It's just a simple way of counting "octal" numbers.   Hope you enjoy it.

How to play the Mystery Numbers Game
  • Think of any number from 0 to 63.
  • Look at the numbers in each of these 6 boxes and check the box with your number in it.
  • If your number is not in a box, leave it blank (unchecked).
  • After making your check mark(s), click on the "Show Me My Number" button below to see your number.
